We are excited to announce a new Sculptor release.The update is already available on the AppExchange. Here is a list of the most significant improvements that will make your quoting process even quicker and easier.

✦CREATING ASSETS
We implemented Asset’s capability for purchased or installed products. It’s a necessary feature if you deal with maintenance plans, entitlements, and work orders and have a need to access and estimate the history of a customer’s product quickly.
Assets usually represent and store the specific information with attributes about your customers’ products. Typical information includes a serial number, purchase date, ect. related to an individual sale and helps to see a product's history from production to retirement.
Powered by the feature to link Assets with products, business users get the following benefits:
increase the effectiveness of accounting for the manufactured and ready-to-ship products
prevent unplanned downtime expenses
increase revenues through the use of services
improve flexibility and decrease time-to-value
This feature requires adjusting Sculptor settings to become activated. Please check the Show asset links in Fields and Layouts settings.
✦PRE-CONFIGURED BUNDLES
We added the ability to pre-configure Bundles. The products you choose in Bundle Builder will be chosen in Opportunity Builder , Quote Builder and Web Quote.
This feature helps sales reps to save their time and avoid additional bundle customization after adding to the opportunity or quote. Let’s see how it works.
Before we had this picture in Bundles:
Now if you want the product in the Bundle to be checked as a default go to Bundle Builder, choose your product in the Bundle Builder and click on the checkbox:
When the checkbox is checked, the product will be AUTOMATICALLY added in Opportunity Builder, Quote Builder or Web Quote:
✦CONFIGURING THE SAME BUNDLES IN DIFFERENT WAYS
Now it’s possible to add the same bundle configured in different ways to a quote. This feature is available in Opportunity Builder, Quote Builder and Web Quote. The bundles you drag and drop will be added separately to your quote.
This functionality will allow you to configure complex quotes for your customer and provide sets of products with different child products and their quantity in the same bundles in one quote. No need to create additional quotes!
This feature requires adjusting Sculptor settings to become activated. Please uncheck Merge same products in Fields and Layouts settings.
✦CHANGING THE PRODUCT NAMES AND SETTING UP MANUAL COST PRICE
We know how to make your quote customization process more flexible. Now you can change the product names and cost price in your quote on the fly without triggering your main data. Change the products names for specific markets and sales to accelerate the quoting and remove misunderstanding with clients.
Just use a pencil tool to change the name and the cost price in a couple of clicks:
✦ADDING PICTURES TO THE QUOTE LINE ITEMS
This functionality definitely makes sense if it’s crucial for your sales process to show the appearance of the products to your client right in the quote without attaching multiple pictures to your email proposal.
We’ve made this process simple and effortless. Just use a pencil tool to select and ‘’glue’’ a desired picture to a quote line item:
The pictures of the products will be shown on Web Quote and PDF Quote.

✦COMBINING SEVERAL QUOTES TO ONE PROPOSAL
This is a must-have feature for all CPQ solutions. We know that sales process can very complicated with multiple steps, long-term execution contracts and sophisticated process of providing additional products and services to the customer under the current agreements.
In order to provide better transparency in the quotes interrelation, we’ve implemented the ability to link the quotes with the same opportunity or sale to one proposal.
Now you can create one Parent Quote and link it with multiple Child Quotes (e.g. containing additional products or services the customer needs in the upcoming future under the Agreement terms).
This feature requires adjusting Sculptor settings to become activated. Please check Enable combined proposals boxin Fields and Layouts.
✦ADDING CUSTOM PDF QUOTE TEMPLATES
Now sales reps have the option of either using the Sculptor CPQ default PDF template for quoting or adding their own corporate PDF template with Apex Classes.
This feature significantly speeds up the sales process by allowing you to create a customized quote template that your sales team will use when generating quotes to send to clients.
Sculptor makes it easy and quick to modify the template's design and content to make your sales proposal look more attractive. Now you can connect the desired blocks of information to any product in the quote.
You can also set your new PDF template as the default for new quotes.
These improvements will help you quote faster and close deals more effectively providing the best possible experience for your customers!
