What’s new at Sculptor CPQ for Salesforce?
Release notes
We constantly improve the Sculptor CPQ app for Salesforce to cater to the evolving requirements of its users and foresee any potential issues they might have. Our release notes detail every update and improvement made to the app since its launch in 2022 until now.
— Display an asterisk at the group level when the group contains any mandatory elements
— Added the ability to select fields in the bundle creation dialog
— Improved Quote Line Item to Opportunity Line Item sync functionality to prevent Opportunity Line Item re-creation
— Enhanced the quote pricing rule calculation mechanism to reduce recalculation time for complex logic. The “Auto Recalculate Attempts Count” setting will no longer cause performance issues
— Placed the New Quote button separately to make the initial quote creation process clearer
— Disabled recalculation while a bundle is in edit mode if there are no active configuration rules in the system
— Added the ability to apply a custom generator selected on the parent to all child Quotes
— Added the ability to deactivate a Product Bundle directly from the Bundle Editor
— Added the ability to save the Quote PDF with a proper name (based on Quote Number, Quote Name, and Date)
Improvements
- Developed a new interface for mass editing pricing rules
- Added the ability to switch between discount types (percentage and absolute). Also introduced two new rule types for Quotes and Quote Line Items to support absolute discounts
- Added the ability to duplicate Quote Line Items directly within the Quote Builder
- Created a new Sculptor component to embed the Opportunity Builder into the standard Opportunity view
- Created a new Sculptor component to embed the Quote Builder directly into the standard Quote Detail view

— Added ability to handle product list length.
— The time zone is displayed in the left sidebar on the Bundle, Quote and Opportunity editors correctly.
— When you create a bundle with several suboptions, check Suboption is required and don’t choose any, the first suboption will be chosen as a default on Opportunity Builder, Quote Builder and Web Quote.
— Improved look of the interactive Quote.
- Added ability to pre-configure Bundles. The products you choose in Bundle Builder will be chosen in Opportunity Builder, Quote Builder and Web Quote.

— On Quote Builder, a user can create a Quote and required fields will be shown.
— On Quote Line Item details, you can insert the pictures, that will be shown on Web Quote and PDF Quote.
— Approval process is compatible with Professional Edition.

New Features
- Added Sculptor UI Configurations Page. In order to help users to configure Sculptor UI without the need to switching between various custom settings and field sets, the configuration settings are united on one page. The page is opened from the tab named “Sculptor Settings”. The tab should be available for admin users, who have Sculptor licenses.
- Added the ability to control access to all Builders pages. Remove the ability to user navigate to Quote builder, Bundle builder, Opportunity builder and Pricing rule.

- Added approval process control functionality and the status bar on Quote and Opportunity builder. It lets users know if they are allowed to edit a Quote, or if other statuses or approval processes prevent them from editing (for more information, click here);
- Implemented Rule grouping configuration and Rule order of execution for more effective use of Pricing Rules (for more information, see section Rules / Folders submenu overview).
