What’s new at Sculptor CPQ for Salesforce?

We constantly improve the Sculptor CPQ app for Salesforce to cater to the evolving requirements of its users and foresee any potential issues they might have. Our release notes detail every update and improvement made to the app since its launch in 2022 until now.
New Features
- Added ability to attach your own PDF files to PDF Quotes.

Improvements
- Removed the button to make Parent Quote Primary
- In Quote Builder Details section, there are no Quote Fields in Parent Quote
- Parent Quote has special sign in right sidebar instead of sum
- No products can be added to Parent Quote
- Added ability to view Accepted Quotes’ history in Quote object Attachments.
- Added ability to add configurable columns on Quote Builder.
— Added a warning message in Quote Builder when you are trying to send the Quote to an invalid email address.

— Product sidebar can be grouped into 5 fields.
— Bug fixes and other minor improvements.
— Community Sculptor Quote Builder: the difference between the original price and the price you set manually will be shown in Margin column.
New Features
- Added ability to create new Action type on Pricing Rule page ‘Notification’. Now user will be able to create 3 types of Notification messages Informational, Warning and Error which will be shown on the notification bar on Quote Builder with the provided message.
- Added ability to settle relations between Quote Line Item and Assets.

Improvements
— Added ability to handle product list length.
— The time zone is displayed in the left sidebar on the Bundle, Quote and Opportunity editors correctly.
— When you create a bundle with several suboptions, check Suboption is required and don’t choose any, the first suboption will be chosen as a default on Opportunity Builder, Quote Builder and Web Quote.
— Improved look of the interactive Quote.
- Added ability to pre-configure Bundles. The products you choose in Bundle Builder will be chosen in Opportunity Builder, Quote Builder and Web Quote.
- Added ability to create your own PDF Templates.
- Added ability to hide the prices of the options of a bundle on a Web Quote and PDF Quote.
- Added ability to change the name of a Product and Indicate a manual Cost Price.
- Added ability to recalculate your Quote Builder after any change from 1 to 5 times automatically.
- Added ability to combine several quotes to one proposal.
- Added ability to add different bundles configured in different ways to a quote.
- Added ability to calculate taxes on Quote Builder and view the result on Web Quote and PDF Quote.
— On Quote Builder, a user can create a Quote and required fields will be shown.
— On Quote Line Item details, you can insert the pictures, that will be shown on Web Quote and PDF Quote.
— Approval process is compatible with Professional Edition.
New Features
- Added Sculptor UI Configurations Page. In order to help users to configure Sculptor UI without the need to switching between various custom settings and field sets, the configuration settings are united on one page. The page is opened from the tab named “Sculptor Settings”. The tab should be available for admin users, who have Sculptor licenses.
- Added the ability to control access to all Builders pages. Remove the ability to user navigate to Quote builder, Bundle builder, Opportunity builder and Pricing rule.

— Changed the logic of cost price - 0 cost will be shown if it was not populated on price book entry.
— Added the ability to remember the place where the user was upon getting back before switching to another tab from a Sculptor’s tab.
— Minor UI Improvements for web quotes.
— Only Active Products are now displayed in Product Left sidebar and Bundle builder right sidebar.
- Added Opportunity manager that helps the manager to see the related Quotes on an Opportunity while working on the Opportunity Builder with the ability to delete the quote straight from Opportunity builder or navigate to Quote builder for editing.
- Added the ability to attach files straight from Quote or Opportunity builder.
- Added filter functionality to Bundle builder, Quote builder, Opportunity builder.

New Features
- Added approval process control functionality and the status bar on Quote and Opportunity builder. It lets users know if they are allowed to edit a Quote, or if other statuses or approval processes prevent them from editing (for more information, click here);
- Implemented Rule grouping configuration and Rule order of execution for more effective use of Pricing Rules (for more information, see section Rules / Folders submenu overview).
