No. Sculptor cannot be used as stand-alone software. It’s a native Salesforce application, all data is stored in Salesforce instance.
Sculptor CPQ operation is guaranteed for Enterprise Edition and above. Professional Edition is supported with some PE limitations not related to Sculptor CPQ (for instance, Approval process for Quotes is unavailable). Web Services API is required to install the Sculptor CPQ package for Salesforce Professional Edition orgs.
No, Salesforce CPQ licenses are not needed. Sculptor CPQ is a completely independent solution for product and pricing management, and quoting.
Sculptor is a Salesforce native solution and uses the standard Salesforce data model and objects such as Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Products, etc. It can be integrated with Salesforce seamlessly without complex manipulations.
